Process

I compare my sketches to conversations often arranging texture and color studies on a wall or scattered on the floor. Being able to refer to my work deepens my understanding of the pieces I am creating. I by collecting found objects like paper scraps, unsuccessful prints, and old print screens. I often follow the practice of working on a piece until it feels right through arranging the paper and materials until they achieve a sense of depth. As my compositions grow, so does their complexity.
